JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is the modern, web architected product running on a SQL Server, Oracle database, or DB2 stack. JD Edwards World is the green screen IBM i product still running profitably in thousands of mid market industrial and distribution shops.

Both sit under the Oracle Applications Unlimited support guarantee with premier support continuing into 2034 and beyond. Both are commonly renewed at 22 percent annual support uplift if no one pushes back. That uplift is fully negotiable.

The single largest savings in JDE renewals comes from cleaning the user list. Old leavers, dormant accounts, and consultant users from past projects are quietly carried on the support bill year after year. Oracle never volunteers to remove them.
